Jenkins Solar Farm

Jenkins Solar Farm is a 26.0MW facility located in Jenkins County, GA. A ground-mount, single-axis tracker facility on 182 acres of land, converted a combination of open hay and grazing fields for this private landowner to create a consistent, recurring lease revenue for 20+ years. This 3rd generation milk farmer has been able to establish an alternate and consistent financial plan for his family for the next 20+ years. This facility became operational in November 2016 and generates 45,500 MWh of renewable energy per year for the community.
